Frequently Asked Questions
The details, made easier.
Answers to the practical questions that come up when planning branded gifts for clients, employees, events and distributed teams.
Planning & Ordering
Before we begin.
How do we get started?
Tell us who the gifts are for, your approximate quantity, budget per recipient and desired arrival date. If you already have a product idea, include it. If not, we will recommend a focused shortlist.
Is there an online catalog or checkout?
Made Sweeter is consultation-led rather than self-checkout. Product availability, minimums, branding methods and delivery requirements vary, so we confirm the right combination before an order is placed.
Do you have minimum order quantities?
Yes. Minimums vary by product and customization method. Share your approximate quantity and we will focus only on options that make sense for your program.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the product, quantity, customization, packaging and number of delivery destinations. Listed starting prices are directional; your proposal will confirm the complete program cost.
How can the gifts be customized?
Depending on the product, options may include custom wrappers, printed or engraved chocolate, branded boxes, ribbon, cards, sleeves and personalized messages. We will recommend methods suited to your budget and timeline.
What artwork do you need?
A vector logo is ideal, usually in AI, EPS, SVG or print-ready PDF format. High-resolution PNG files may work for some applications. We will confirm requirements before production.
Will we see a proof before production?
Yes. For customized elements, we coordinate an artwork proof for approval before production begins. The proof should be reviewed carefully for content, spelling, colors and placement.
Can we include a personal message?
Usually. Programs can often include one company-wide message, different messages by recipient group or recipient-specific notes. Available formats depend on the selected gift.
Can every gift ship to a different address?
Yes. Direct-to-recipient delivery is central to our service. Gifts can generally be sent to homes, offices or a combination of both.
How do we provide the recipient list?
We provide a straightforward spreadsheet format for names, addresses, gift selections and messages. Recipient information should be reviewed for accuracy before submission.
Can different groups receive different gifts?
Yes. Many programs use different gift tiers for executives, clients, employees, departments or other audiences. We can help structure the tiers and organize the fulfillment data.
Can you help with delivery exceptions?
We help identify and address shipment exceptions when they occur. Carrier delays, weather, incorrect addresses and recipient availability can affect final delivery timing. Carriers may charge fees for returns, redirects, address corrections or missing suite numbers; any such charges are passed through to the client.
How early should we start?
Lead time depends on quantity, customization and season. Starting earlier provides better product selection and more time for artwork, proofing and delivery planning. For holiday programs, we recommend having gifts produced, packaged and ready before Thanksgiving so they can be released to carriers during the first week of December and arrive no later than the second week. With more recipients working remotely and beginning holiday travel earlier, this timing also helps reduce the risk of packages being left unattended until they return.
Can chocolate ship during warm weather?
Often, yes. Many products can be protected in transit with insulated packaging and/or ice packs. Product selection, destination temperatures and shipping speed all matter, and we may recommend expedited air service rather than ground delivery. We will discuss the most practical warm-weather options for your program.
Can you accommodate dietary needs or allergens?
Options may be available for particular dietary preferences, but ingredients and facilities vary by producer. Tell us about requirements early so we can confirm suitable products and provide available ingredient information.
What if we are not sure which gift to choose?
That is exactly where we are most useful. Tell us the audience, occasion, quantity, budget and desired impression, and we will narrow the choices to a manageable shortlist.
