Making 500 Gifts Feel Like One

There is an interesting challenge with corporate gifting. You might be sending 50 gifts. Or 500. Or 5,000. But the person opening the box only receives one.

To them, it is personal.

That is why the best large-scale gifting programs do not feel large-scale. The recipient should not be thinking about spreadsheets, shipping lists, purchase orders and fulfillment centers. They should feel like somebody picked something specifically for them.

Where personalization comes from

It does not require hand-writing 500 notes (though we can do more of that than you would expect). It comes from the details:

A personalized note or their name on or in the box. A message tied to the occasion instead of a generic holiday greeting. Thoughtful packaging. Or simply choosing something they probably would not buy for themselves.

The receiver feels the difference between “one of 500” and “picked for me” almost instantly, and the second one is the one they mention to their spouse that evening.

Behind the scenes, there can be a lot of logistics involved. But none of that should be visible to the person receiving it. Our job is to make the complicated part disappear, so all they see is a great gift.

If you have a large list and want it to feel like anything but a large list, tell us about the audience. That is our favorite kind of problem.
